I did a stint in Theatre both working in the musicians’ pit and appearing on stage. I have also appeared on TV several times including in the first series of Guitar Star on Sky TV. I have performed to a wide range of clients including but not limited to celebrities like Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffmann. Corporate clients have included Google, Audi, BNP Paribas, Bvlgari Jewels, and General Motors to name just a few. Venues have ranged from private residencies, to restaurants, bars, hotels, corporate offices, events venues, to private yachts and prestigious landmark venues like the Ritz.
Over the last 20 years I have become a qualified and seasoned pro with my number of performances approaching 1000. For a lot of the events the music is in the background, and I have become an expert at sensing the mood of any event and providing the appropriate atmosphere to create something that everyone can appreciate and enjoy. For other occasions, like a concert, the music is the main feature, and I can also give talks on the origin, history, and influences that the music encompasses, as well as my personal connection with the music that I am performing.

I really enjoy the magical atmosphere of a live solo guitar performance. Nothing quite beats the feeling created by the intense focus of both the performer and the audience. Live music is the ultimate musical experience. It was the only experience of music that was available for hundreds of years until the wide dissemination of recorded music occurred in the 20th Century. Now we are well into the 21st Century, the experience of music has perhaps become undermined by its instant availability on all devices, at all times.

Such that the special occasion that a musical experience used to hold has mostly drifted away to the point where we even have music in the background as we travel in a lift for 30 seconds.
A concert experience gives us the taste of the original magic that humans have experienced through the ages. We get transported on a musical and emotional journey into the unknown. By analogy, the performer is the guide on that journey. We also get to experience the exciting visual effects of watching someone produce the music on their instrument, which is often fascinating.
A private concert is a beautiful and intimate event that can be shared with close friends and family in any private space like a residence or private events area. It is also a chance to see a virtuosic musician perform close up, to get to know them and ask them questions about their music.

The Classical guitar is a beautiful instrument, which is rewarding to listen to. Its sound will float beautifully through the air without affecting the conversations of your guests. Important moments like the ceremony can be enhanced with live music accompanying the entrances, the recessional march and the signing of the register. Special performances can also be featured in the ceremony in the same way as readings. I can provide a fantastic accompaniment to your wedding breakfast or drinks reception. I could also give a virtuosic featured performance, for example, for the receiving line before the wedding breakfast or a mini concert at the end of the meal. This can bring another level to your entertainment, creating memories for you and your guests.
